Our vision is to educate and empower every child and make them self-reliant for the life ahead. Our mission is to remove obstacles in the path of education and let every child get educated and skilled as per their inclination and liking.

About Us

Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma Charitable Trust (SKKSCT) is an inspiration drawn from the simple yet prodigious lady Late Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma herself. She was born and brought up in a modest family with a very humble background. Due to various reasons she herself could not receive any formal education.

Since her early age she was a very spiritually inclined personality, always looking for ways to do something for others. She always encouraged Mr. Ratan Sharma to follow his dream of providing free education to the needy and that has brought ahead the vison and mission of SKKSCT. At present with its motto “From Upliftment to Empowerment” SKKSCT is trying to carry forward the legacy of Late Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma. As it says in Sanskrit;

पात्रत्वाद्धनमाप्नोति धनाद्धर्मं ततः सुखम्॥

Since its inception SKKSCT is continuously working in the direction to uplift and empower various underprivileged sections of society through education and skill development. Right to Education is a constitutional right of every citizen yet there are children deprived from this basic right.

Some due to socio-economical boundaries, some due to absence of knowledge and some due to their individual limitations. So far SKKSCT has been successfully able to identify and resolve some rudimentary but unique causes of deprivation of education in different sections of society. SKKSCT has undertaken various projects and has given new dimensions to education. At SKKSCT we believe academic abilities alone do not define a child. Every child is blessed with different skills.

With this thought in our various projects we try to educate and empower children through a variety of arts and skills. SKKSCT is a philanthropic arm of Triton Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd. SKKSCT is actively involved in various education and skill related initiatives in Jaipur Rural and Jaipur City.

About Trustees

Mr. Ratan Kant Sharma (Managing Trustee)

Mr. Ratan Kant Sharma (Managing Trustee) a Civil Engineer by qualification and a well-known hotelier by profession is the brain behind this initiative.

Late Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma was grandmother of Mr. Ratan Kant Sharma and was his source of inspiration.

Mr. Sharma provides impetus to the trust through his knowledge and vast experience. Being a global citizen he always emphasizes on eminence of every initiative the trust takes up.

Mr. Sharma’s deep rooted values and his emphasis on Indian heritage, art and culture is vividly visible in his exclusive creations like Fairmont Jaipur, Raffles Udaipur and Raffles Jaipur.

With this he has been able to provide employment to the local artisans and provide a platform to showcase our Indian heritage to the world.

Mrs. Jui Kulkarni Sharma (Trustee)

Mrs. Jui Kulkarni Sharma (Trustee) A sea of omniscience and a mother of two brings compassion to every activity the trust does. A Computer Engineer by qualification, she always ensures that the trust contributes and makes a difference in the life of the of our youth. From inception to execution and finally realizing the dream project she puts in her heart and soul.

As a director of several luxury properties, she oversees multiple facets of their hotels (Fairmont Jaipur, Raffles Udaipur and Raffles Jaipur) including design, interiors, and IT. Her elegance in soft skills makes valuable impact in different projects the trust initiates. She has been actively taking up initiatives to preserve the traditions and cultural elements of Rajasthan.

Being Vocal for Local is what she believes in for all her luxe properties. She is also actively involved in working and educating special needs children through another project which is very close to her heart.

Trust Projects

Project Udayaan – Free Education to Poor or Financially Underprivileged Children

English Communication; providing English communication enhancement to two schools in Jaipur rural. By appointment of an expert subject teacher at those schools, we are trying to develop an atmosphere where children can understand and communicate (read, write, speak) in English language with confidence. This intervention is being done at primary level itself for better personality development. As of now approximately 250 students have successfully gained their command on English language.

Project Unnat – A Holistic Development Program for Children with Special Needs

Bhavani Vidyalaya; Under this project SKKSCT is providing all sorts of support to cater to the needs of the children with Specific Learning Disability, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia etc. Providing multi-dimensional support to school. Starting from a well-equipped facility, to bringing in expert trainers for different art and skills, to enriching the experience of students with quality in every aspect, creating opportunities and providing exposure to test their ability and learn about new prospective. So far, a positive improvement is seen in about 720 students.

Project Siddhaant – Skill Development Program for Poor and Financially Underprivileged Youth

A} Computer Training; have provided computer training to financial underprivileged children in Jaipur. In technical education being aware of basics of computers is important. As a pilot project we established a computer lab and enrolled students from EWS and so far
the outcome is satisfactory. For about 240 students have been able to acquire basic and theoretical knowledge.

B} Upcoming Vocational Training Program; as a vision to empower youth from EWS, we are very soon going to start a employment based skill development program for youth. This program will have Pan India reach in terms of beneficiaries. A youth from anywhere in India can get a proper skill development training from Tourism & Hospitality Industry giants and get themselves employed as well. Project is in final face to be launched very soon.

Project Kayakalp – Build and Redevelop Schools in Rural Areas

Redevelopment; have done renovation of two public schools in Jaipur rural. As a pilot project we’ve taken up this initiative in Jaipur Rural area for public schools. We’ve successfully renovated and redeveloped two schools. It has solved some basic hindrances of the students, such as clean drinking water, adequately maintained separate washrooms for male and female students, well painted and decorated classrooms and neat and clean surroundings of the schools. This enriched experience of the facility itself is a motivation for these students. It has improved school facility for about 350 students.
